Formation of Robocon Team and Team Structure

Team Formation:

In Vadodara Institute of Engineering, the selection of Robocon team is done purely on the basis of student's dedication and intentions. The team formation take place under the guidance of experienced faculties of all branches. Following exhaustive selection processes are implemented:

1. Written entrance test: 

-Involve 4 subjects: Mechanical, Programming, Circuit Design and Market survey

2. Personal evaluation and interview: 

-Conducted by experienced faculties, the personal interview focuses on student's overall mindset.

3. Practical evaluation and training:
-After knockouts in previous two steps, the remaining students undergo training. They are sometimes given drill tasks and made introduced to practical know-hows.

These selection steps are mandatory for each student, not to check how he/she is intelligent, but to check, how well he/she is capable. The selection process has never been based on score cards for Robocon team in VIER.
